In a Title VII action by a former police officer alleging termination based on a discriminatory animus, judgment of the district court denying defendant's motions for judgment as a matter of law and judgment notwithstanding the verdict is affirmed where, in light of the Staub ruling, the defendant's internal disciplinary review hearing did not sever the causal connection between a supervisor's retaliatory animus and defendant's ultimate decision to terminate plaintiff.
