United States Third Circuit

US v. Tyson, 09-3487

Conviction and sentencing of defendant on an assortment of federal and Virgin Islands firearms offenses are: 1) upheld in part where the district court correctly denied defendant's post-conviction motion for acquittal on the Virgin Island charges, while granting the motion with respect to a federal conspiracy charge; but 2) reversed in part where the court erred by granting defendant Rule 29 relief on the balance of his federal convictions.
