Tristani v. Richman, 09-3537

In a dispute invovling whether state-imposed liens against future settlements or judgments to recoup Medicaid costs constitutes an exception to the anti-lien and anti-recovery provisions of the Social Security Act, judgment of the district curt is affirmed where imposition of such lien is proper under the Act, and reversed where district court erred on the issue of state defualt allocation procedure.
