United States Third Circuit

Reger v. Nemours Found., Inc., 08-2875

In plaintiffs' medical malpractice suits against a defendant-foundation and its physicians, district court's approval of Clerk's award of costs for defendants following district court's entry of summary judgment in favor of defendants is affirmed where: 1) neither district judge erred by failing to write an opinion explaining his or her reasons for approving the Clerk's award of costs; and 2) the district court did not abuse its discretion in awarding costs to the defendants under Fed.R.Civ.P. 54(d)(1).
