Kelley v. Comm'r of Soc. Security, 08-1652

In an dispute involving supplemental security income benefits, district court judgment upholding the denial of benefits is affirmed where the ALJ properly considered the proceeds from the sale of plaintiff's marital home, placed in escrow pending equitable distribution, to be a countable resource that rendered her ineligible for SSI benefits.
