Marten v. Godwin, 05-5520
In a 42 U.S.C. section 1983 action alleging defamation in violation of state law and retaliation in violation of the First Amendment brought after plaintiff was accused of plagiarism and expelled from an internet-based educational program, summary judgment based on a lack of personal jurisdiction is affirmed where plaintiff did not establish that the nonresident defendants expressly aimed their conduct at Pennsylvania.
