United States Third Circuit

US v. Lloyd, 05-4241

Judgment of conviction and sentence is affirmed where: 1) the court did not err in applying Booker by relying on the 18 U.S.C. Sec.3553(a) as a starting point and considering additional factors as well; 2) even assuming there is a Sec. 3553(c)(1) requirement, the court did not commit any error by providing concrete reasons for the sentence; and 3) Lloyd was unable to satisfy the burden of proving that the sentence was unreasonable.
