United States Third Circuit

US v. Jackson, 05-4091

A sentence imposed upon a conviction for offenses involving counterfeiting obligations is affirmed over claims that: 1) the district court erred by failing explicitly to rule on his motion for a downward departure from the initial guidelines range; and 2) that the district court did not adequately consider all of the relevant statutory factors in refusing to vary his sentence from that range.
