Monteiro v. City of Elizabeth, 04-3756

Jury verdict and awards of damages for plaintiff in a civil rights case brought by a former city council member against defendant, president of the city council, for having him ejected from a meeting and having him arrested based on his viewpoint is affirmed where there was no error in the proceedings and the verdict was based on sufficient evidence.
