US v. KELLUM, 02-4054

Defendant, convicted of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and carrying a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking offense, unsuccessfully appeals his sentence. The district court correctly observed that it lacked authority to depart downward from the statutorily mandated minimum sentence.
