United States Third Circuit
BUTLER v. CITY OF CAMDEN, 02-2903
District court erred in denying plaintiff's request to question the venire panel regarding potential law enforcement bias, because there may have been venirepersons in the jury pool who were dispositioned to credit the testimony of a police officer over that of a civilian simply by dint of the officer's official status.
