STECYK v. BELL HELICOPTER TEXTRON, INC., 99-2030/51
In wrongful death actions arising out of a helicopter crash, a jury finding for designers, manufacturers, and testers, is affirmed where 1) component test conditions were similar to conditions on the helicopter, 2) expert testimony as to causation was supported by the record, and 3) prejudicial post-incident remedial measures were properly excluded.
