United States Third Circuit

US v. VEGA, 00-5191

It was not an abuse of discretion to admit evidence of a prior drug conspiracy in which defendant was involved, which was relevant to defendant's knowledge of subsequent conspiracy and his relationship with one of its members; it was not clear error to admit statements from spiral notebooks taken from co-conspirator's apartment and conversations intercepted on defendant's phone, as statements in furtherance of conspiracies under Federal Rule of Evidence 801(d)(2)(E).
