HUGHES v. LONG, 99-2037

A court-appointed custody evaluator enjoys judicial immunity as an "arm of the court," similar to a guardian ad litem or a court-appointed doctor or psychologist, a non-judicial person who fulfills a quasi-judicial role at the court's request.
