United States Second Circuit
US v. Bleau, 18‐1574
Affirm. The question before the court is whether sentence enhancements can be applied based on mental but not physical pain being caused to a minor. Defendant was convicted of receiving and possessing child pornography that contained sadistic or other depictions of violence. The court held that increased sentence enhancement applies when there is a depiction of mental or physical cruelty to a minor.
