General Re Life Corp. v. Lincoln National Life Insurance Co., 17‐2496

In a dispute between two insurance companies that ended up in arbitration, held that where an arbitration award is ambiguous, the arbitrators retain their authority to clarify that award; this is an exception to the doctrine of functus officio. Affirmed the district court.
