United States Second Circuit

D'Addario v. D'Addario, 17-1162

Held that the plaintiff plausibly pleaded RICO claims arising out of her brother's alleged mismanagement of their father's probate estate. The plaintiff claimed that her brother, sister, and others had systematically looted the assets of the estate, which was once estimated to be worth more than $100 million. Vacating the district court's dismissal order, the Second Circuit held that the plaintiff had adequately pleaded certain RICO claims.
