United States Second Circuit
Edrei v. Bratton, 17-2065
Affirming the district court's rejection of New York Police Department arguments that their use of a long range acoustic device, known as a sound gun, to disperse non-violent protestors that resulted in injury, including hearing loss, could not be a Fourteenth Amendment violation or the violation of a clearly established law because the device caused injury comparable by other tools that are capable of excessive force.
