United States Second Circuit
Tanvir v. Tanzin, 16-1176
Reversing a district court judgment and remanding for further proceedings the case of men suing senior law enforcement officials and officers they alleged put them on the No Fly List in retaliation for refusing to serve as informants in violation of their First Amendment and Religious Freedom Restoration Act because the RFRA permits plaintiffs to seek money damages against federal officers sued in their individual capacities for violations of the Act's substantive protections.
