United States Second Circuit

US v. Jones, 15-1518

Affirming a sentence entered in district court for assaulting a federal officer that included a career offender enhancement because the Supreme Court has held that the residual clause of the Career Offender Guideline is not unconstitutional and New York first degree robbery categorically qualifies as a crime of violence under the residual clause and the sentence was not substantively unreasonable.
