United States Second Circuit

Pollard v. The New York Methodist Hospital, 15-3231

Vacating the grant of summary judgment to the defendant, a hospital, in a wrongful termination case, determining that the plaintiff's treatment of a growth on her foot, while not life-threatening, could qualify as a serious injury since two follow-up visits were 'treatment' and other evidence created a genuine issue regarding the seriousness of the injury.
