United States Second Circuit
US v. Ulbricht, 15-1815
Life sentence and conviction for drug trafficking and other crimes associated with defendant's creation and operation of an online marketplace known as Silk Road are affirmed over his meritless claims that the district court erred in denying his motion to suppress evidence obtained in violation of the Fourth Amendment, that the district court committed several errors that deprived him of his right to a fair trial, and incorrectly denied his motion for a new trial; and that his life sentence is both procedurally and substantively unreasonable.
