OneWest Bank v. Melina, 15-3063

In a civil procedure action arising from a foreclosure, the district court's grant of summary judgment to plaintiff and denial of defendant's cross-motion to dismiss for lack of subject matter jurisdiction is affirmed. The Second Circuit joined other circuits in holding that a national bank is a citizen of the state in which its main office is located for the purpose of subject matter jurisdiction.
