In a tort action, brought by a former inmate at Rikers Island against several correction corrections officers and prison officials alleging excessive force and the manufacture of evidence leading to his prolonged detention, the judgment for plaintiff is vacated in part and remanded where the district court erred in excluding from trial allegedly false reports prepared by officers.
