United States Second Circuit
Am. Freedom v. Metro. Transp. Auth., 15-1997
In a constitutional action arising from defendant’s refusal to display plaintiff’s advertisements concerning Islam on MTA subways and buses, the district court’s dissolution of the preliminary injunction, following defendant’s revision of its advertising standards, is affirmed where the district court correctly applied the voluntary cessation doctrine in holding that the revised standards rendered plaintiff’s claims moot.
