United States Second Circuit
Tavarez v. Larkin, 14-1934
In a habeas corpus case, the district court’s denial of the petition is affirmed where the state court’s rejection of petitioner’s ineffective-assistance-of-trial-counsel claim, when his attorney failed to object to the jury’s weapons charge conviction, was not an unreasonable application of federal law and did not establish prejudice.
