United States Second Circuit

Brown v. Lockheed Martin Corp., 14-4083

In an injury action following plaintiff's late father's exposure to asbestos and death from mesothelioma, the district court's dismissal for lack of personal jurisdiction is affirmed where Connecticut's corporate registration statute and appointment of agent provisions do not require registrant corporations that have appointed agents for service of process to submit to the general jurisdiction of Connecticut courts.
