United States Second Circuit
Biro v. Conde Nast, 14-3815
In a defamation action arising from a New Yorker article concerning plaintiff's fingerprint analysis art authentication work, the district court's dismissal of plaintiff's claims is affirmed where F.R.C.P. Rule 8 requires that a limited-purpose public figure bringing a defamation suit to plead sufficient facts to make allegations of actual malice plausible.
