New York Times Co. v. U.S. Dep't of Justice, 14-4432

In a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) case seeking disclosure of classified documents by the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Legal Counsel concerning targeted killings by drone aircraft, the district court's order to keep all but one document undisclosed is affirmed where all applicable documents are subject to FOIA exceptions. The court further permitted the disclosure of portions of the district court's opinion and kept undisclosed redactions from an in camera and ex parte oral argument before the court.
