United States Second Circuit

Espinoza v. Dimon, 14-1754

In a derivative action seeking to compel JPMorgan to take action against corporate officers allegedly responsible for the "London Whale" trading losses, including several executives who disseminated misleading statements about those losses, the district court's dismissal is affirmed where the court: 1) did not abuse its discretion by dismissing this action; and 2) did not err by denying the plaintiff an opportunity to amend his complaint.
