United States Second Circuit
US v. Komasa, 13-1534-cr (L)
Conviction of defendants for mail, wire, and bank fraud, and conspiracy flowing from a scheme to commit mortgage fraud, is affirmed, where the district court did not abuse its discretion in admitting loan application documents as self-authenticating pursuant to Rule 902(11), as, even though government failed to provide defendants with the written notice required by the rule, the defendants had actual notice of the government's intention to admit the records as self-authenticating, thus satisfying the rule's purpose.
