United States Second Circuit
US v. Stokes, 12-2843
Defendant's convictions on one count of possession of a firearm as a convicted felon and one count of possession of a machine gun are vacated and remanded, where the district court erred in denying defendant's suppression motion because: 1) the firearms were discovered after a warrantless entry into defendant's motel room; and 2) the district court erred in its application of the inevitable discovery doctrine.
