United States Second Circuit
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, Maryland v. Citigroup, Inc., 10-722
Judgment dismissing plaintiffs' complaints alleging putative class actions against defendants for conspiring to simultaneously stop buying auction rate securities for their own proprietary accounts, which triggered a market collapse, is affirmed, where plaintiffs' complaints do not successfully allege a violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act because plaintiffs have only pled parallel conduct and do not plausibly suggest a common motive to conspire.
