United States Second Circuit

US v. Robles, 12-631

Judgment of conviction imposing a sentence of thirty-five years' imprisonment, which included consecutive mandatory minimum terms of imprisonment of seven and twenty-five years for brandishing a firearm during two robberies under 18 USC 924(c), is affirmed, where the "except" clause in section 924(c)(1) does not exempt a defendant, sentenced on multiple 924(c) convictions in a single judgment, from receiving a consecutive mandatory minimum sentence for each of his section 924(c) convictions.
