Harrington v. U.S., 11-2119

District court's denial of defendant's petition for habeas relief from a 15-year mandatory minimum sentence imposed under the Armed Career Criminal Act (ACCA), for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon is affirmed, as the first degree unlawful restrain under Connecticut law is a violent felony under the ACCA's residual clause, and this with defendant's two prior first-degree robbery convictions, compel imposition of the statutory mandated minimum 15-year prison term.
