United States Second Circuit
Jabbar v. Fischer, 11-3765
In an action brought by a state inmate who alleged violations of his constitutional rights when he was transported on a bus without a seatbelt and was injured when thrown from his seat, dismissal of the suit is affirmed where the failure of prison officials to provide seatbelts to prison inmates does not, standing alone, violate the Eighth or Fourteenth Amendments.
