In a suit under 42 U.S.C. section 1983 brought by a plaintiff who had been civilly committed after his release from prison, alleging that psychiatric center staff seized and withheld his personal DVDs and CDs and his incoming non-legal mail in violation of the First and Fourth Amendments and his procedural due process rights, the district court's dismissal for failure to state a claim is affirmed, where: 1) none of the constitutional claims had merit; and 2) in any event, the defendants were entitled to qualified immunity because it was objectively reasonable for them to believe that their acts did not violate the plaintiff's rights.
