United States Second Circuit
Raedle v. Credit Agricole Indosuez, 10-2565
In a suit by a financial analyst against his former employer and his supervisor at that firm for tortious interference with a job offer from another firm, the district court's order granting a new trial is reversed, the judgment rendered in favor of the plaintiff on the second trial is vacated, and the case is remanded with instructions to reinstate the first verdict and to enter judgment in the defendants' favor, where the district court abused its discretion in granting the motion for a new trial, as the verdict could not be said to have been either egregious or a serious miscarriage of justice.
