United States Second Circuit
US v. Watkins, 10-2971
On appeal of a sentence imposed after a guilty plea to a charge of transporting a minor in interstate commerce with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, the sentence is affirmed, where: 1) the district court did not err in applying three sentencing enhancements; and 2) the district court did not abuse its discretion by imposing a sentence of 233 months' imprisonment, as nothing in the record indicated that the sentence, although at the top of the applicable guidelines range, was outside the range of permissible decisions.
