Conviction and sentencing of defendant, a former state senator, for mail fraud, 18 U.S.C. section 1341, and other related-charges are affirmed where the district court did not abuse its discretion in denying defendant's motion to withdraw his guilty plea, nor did it erred in calculating the imprisonment range as recommended by the Sentencing Guidelines, but reversed with respect to the amount of restitution imposed.
