United States Second Circuit
US v. Williams, 05-6036
Convictions and sentences for various offenses, including narcotics trafficking, racketeering, and murder are affirmed over claims that: 1) the district court erred in admitting one defendant's self-inculpatory out-of-court statements that also implicated another defendant; and 2) the district court abused its discretion in concluding that the methodology employed by the government's firearms identification expert met the reliability standard set forth in Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, Inc., 509 U.S. 579 (1993).
