ABN Amro Verzekeringen BV v. Geologistics Ams., Inc., 05-1917

In an action for money damages alleging $500,000 in damage to cargo, the following rulings are affirmed: 1) shipping contracts limited the defendants' liability to $50; 2) after defendants tendered $50 without conceding liability, judgment in plaintiff's favor in that amount; and 3) plaintiff's claim for damages in excess of $50 is dismissed.
