US v. Milstein, 06-1869
Conviction and sentence for crimes related to purchasing foreign versions of prescription drugs sold in the U.S., repackaging them with counterfeit packaging, and selling them to doctors, pharmacists, and others, are affirmed where the district court, acting within its broad discretion to determine restitution, properly employed this measure, and made a reasonable estimate of the amount of lost sales to the drug manufacturers whose trademarks defendant misapropriated.
