US v. Skinner (Acosta), 05-3346

In case involving falsifying search warrants, armed robbery from drug dealers, and use of violent tactics against suspects, convictions of former police officers for violating civil rights under color of law and conspiracy to do so, and carrying a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence are affirmed over claims that violations of 18 U.S.C. sections 242 and 241 are not crimes of violence for purposes of 18 U.S.C. section 924(c).
