KHAN v. ASHCROFT, 03-2126
The Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act (AEDPA) is not impermissibly retroactive as applied to aliens who pleaded guilty following AEDPA's effective date, even if the criminal conduct underlying their convictions took place before AEDPA's effective date.
