CARLSON v. PRINCIPAL FIN. GROUP, 01-9466

District Court's dismissal of an ERISA complaint and a state-law cross-claim, both for lack of subject matter jurisdiction, are vacated, where the complaint, on its face, seeks relief under ERISA and neither of the exceptions enumerated in Bell v. Hood, 327 U.S. 678, 681-82 (1946) applies.
