UNIVERSAL CITY STUDIOS, INC. v. CORLEY, 00-9185

While computer code, and computer programs constructed from code can merit First Amendment protection, a content-neutral regulation that prohibits posting of code that allows users to gain unauthorized access to copyrighted works does not violate the First Amendment.
