MILANESE v. RUST-OLEUM CORP., 00-7527

The Federal Hazardous Substances Act, 15 USC 1261-1278, preempts any state cause of action that seeks to impose a labelling requirement on products containing hazardous chemicals but does not preempt a state cause of action alleging noncompliance.
