FORD v. MOORE, 99-9303

Supervisory police officers are entitled to qualified immunity where subordinate officers intervened in an attempt to avert the apparently imminent suicide of a distraught young man armed with a rifle and was killed by gunshot from one of the subordinate officers' guns.
