United States First Circuit

Affirmed the sentence of a defendant who pleaded guilty to one count of theft in connection with health care and to one count of wire fraud. An accountant who embezzled nearly $1 million from a radiology medical firm challenged the procedural and substantive reasonableness of his upwardly variant sentence. Finding no error, the First Circuit affirmed.
